We represent our client, a listed Multinational IT & Networking vendor. The company’ s customer base covers a broad spectrum of enterprise industries, including banking, finance & insurance ( FSI ) , government, education, manufacturing and telecom operator or service provider. They are currently looking for the below candidates to be based at their Mumbai office in India.
Sales Manager – Channel or Large Account, FSI (Mumbai)
Responsibilities:- The successful individual will meet and exceed revenue by successfully establishing and managing Channel partners or Large account. A prospective company Channel Sales Manager will need to have an understanding of how to drive and develop an effective sales channel via the company resellers.
- Coordinate and develop the local sales and marketing activities.
- Recruit partners to join partner programs.
- Develop relationships with distributors to obtain leads and undertake joint marketing and sales activities.
- Proactively contribute input and feedback into the overall strategy of the channel partners.
- Implement channel promotions.
Requirements:- A Degree holder in Engineering, Marketing or Business Administration with at least 7 years of channel sales or large account management experience in the various industry with 4 years direct/ channel selling experience, selling Network technology or security solutions to the customers in the banking, finance & insurance (FSI). Ideally, the candidate should have verifiable experience and references from resellers in a channel sales role.
- Technology background, working knowledge of Internet protocols, web based security and network infrastructure with the ability to articulate these technologies to customers.
- A strong track record of building and maintaining channel relationships in India, proven experience in a channel overlay/ support role
- High transaction level ability – able to handle short sales cycle and high volume
- The ideal candidate will be self motivated, team oriented and driven to develop.
- This individual must have excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English is required. Strategic selling skills, technical acumen, the ability to work through various channels, the ability to partner effectively with the direct sales force, and excellent presentation skills are required for this position.
- The ideal candidate will have the ability to run sales training and communicate complicated technical concepts. A successful individual can recognize and acquire strategic business opportunities. This individual has the flexibility to embrace new sales models and the working knowledge of building channel. Partners.
- The ideal candidate has a strong track record of building and maintaining channel relationships at the executive and sales leadership positions.
- Annual Remuneration: USD 40K- 55K/ INR1.8-2.6m (50:50 split)- Negotiable.
