They have to satisfy the relaxed Physical Standard required for the posts. Upper age limit is further relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates with respect to posts reserved for them. Upper age is relaxable by 10 years for Physically Challenged candidates, Cumulative age relaxation is available for those Physically Challenged candidates, Cumulative age relaxation is avail able for those Physically Challenged candidates who belong to SC/ST/OBC category. Food Corporation of India Assistant Grade III (Technical)

Food Corporation of India, one of the largest Public Sector Undertakings, dealing with Food Grain Management and allied activities, wishes to induct young and talented Category III personnel for manning posts in its Districts/Regional/Zonal establishments in Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu.

Qualifications:

Selection Process:
The selection process consists of written test, group discussion and interview. The venue & schedule of written test will be intimated to individual applicants along with the admit card.
The same will also be placed on the FCI’s website http://specialtest.in/fci. The written test will be in English only and in two parts. Part I will consist of 60 multiple choice question of the relevant technical discipline and Part II will consist of 60 multiple choice questions on general aptitude consisting of Reasoning, Data Analysis, Computer Awareness, General Awareness and Current Affairs. On qualifying the Written Test, GD & Interview will be held for short-listed candidates. It is essential to appear in every stage of the selection process.

Reservation and Relaxations:

The prescribed qualification, experience and the age limit shall be reckoned as on 01-10-2009. The maximum age limit can be relaxed for 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.
In case of departmental employees, there is no age bar.
The age limit for PH candidates is relaxed by 10 Years (15 Years for PH candidates belonging to SC/ST and 13 Years for PH candidates belonging to OBC). Original medical certificate of the short listed candidates will be scrutinized / verified at the time of interview.
Age is additionally relaxed by 5 Years for those applicants who had ordinarily been domiciled in the Kashmir Division of the state of Jammu & Kashmir during the period 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989. Any applicant intending to avail the relaxation under this category shall have to submit a certificate from a) The District Magistrate Kashmir Division within whose jurisdiction she /he had ordinarily resided or (b) any other authority designated on this behalf by the Govt. of Jammu & Kashmir in the effect that She/he had ordinarily been domiciled in the Kashmir Division of the state of Jammu & Kashmir, during the period from 01.01.80 to 31.12.89.
The aforesaid reservation is not applicable for OBC candidates falling within the creamy layer.

General Conditions:

All the posts carry IDA pattern pay scales and usual allowances such as CCA/HRA/Leave travel facilities etc. These scales carry DA on percentage basis. Gross emoluments would vary depending upon place of posting. Pay scale is due for revision w.e.f.01.01.2007.
Employees of the Central/State Govt./Public Undertakings should get their applications routed through proper channel to reach the Corporation on or before the last date prescribed. Direct application shall not be entertained.

LPSC ISRO Technical Assistant, Technician

Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC) is the lead Centre in the area of Liquid Propulsion for Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO)’s Launch Vehicle and Spacecraft programmes. Research and development of Earth Storable and Cryogenic and Semi Cryogenic propulsion and delivery of Engines, Stages, Associated Control Systems and Components for Launch Vehicle and Spacecraft programmes of ISRO are the main responsibilities of the Centre with its Units at Valiamala near Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala), Bangalore in Karnataka and Mahendragiri in Tamilnadu.

The Headquarters located at Valiamala has the responsibilities of R&D in Earth Storable, Cryogenic and Semi Cryogenic Propulsion Systems for Launch Vehicle and Spacecraft Propulsion. System design and architecture, Management of system projects, Earth Storable & Cryogenic Engine and Stage Systems and Integration of Launch Vehicle Propulsion Control System packages and Modules are carried out at LPSC, Valiamala. Activities like assembly, integration and testing of Earth Storable, Semi Cryogenic and Cryogenic Liquid Rocket Engines and stages are carried out at LPSC, Mahendragiri. LPSC at Bangalore is responsible for design and realization of Mono propellant thrusters and Components, Launch base support and orbit operation for Spacecrafts etc.

In addition, LPSC has Work Centres at variousplaces to liaise/co-ordinate with the companies/industries participating in the space programme. The following posts are available in the Work Centres. Applications are invited to the posts for posting at different locations.

Approximately 75 Direct Sales Executives are proposed to be engaged by various Offices of the Corporation purely on Contract basis for 3 years under the jurisdiction of Central Zonal Office. Job requirements:
It is primarily a Marketing job. The DSEs shall be directly responsible for Procuring New Business, Providing Policy Servicing and related jobs from the areas allotted to them.
