TCIL requires qualified and experienced candidates for the following posts on Regular basis :

Joint General Manager (IT) :
No. of Posts : 1
Scale : Rs. 36,600-62,000 (E6 - IDA)

Educational Qualifications : B.E./B.Tech. in IT/Computer Science/ Electronics & Communication with at least 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized Institute/ University.

The candidate should preferably be a valid CISCO (CCNA/CCNP)/ Juniper/ 3COM/ Nortel certified professional. The candidate should have field experience in setting-up critical networks (LAN/WAN/Intranet/Extranet). The candidate should preferably have good knowledge of Networking Equipments such as Routers, Switches, RAS, Network Management Systems and Protocols such as TCP/IP, X.25, Frame relay, ATM and VoIP, Softswitches etc.

Age limit : Maximum 40 years as on 01/10/2009

Eligibility Criteria :
Candidates from public sector, Private sector and government are eligible to apply. All candidates, however, must fulfill all criteria mentioned below :

• 14 years of post qualification experience, as on 01.10.2009.
• Out of which minimum 2 years working experience as on 01.10.2009 in
  • E5 grade, IDA Rs. 32,900-58,000 (pre-revised scale Rs. 16000-400-20800) in case of PSU, or
  • CDA Rs. 15600-39100 (pre-revised scale Rs. 12000-375-16500) in case of Govt./PSU, or
  • For candidates working in Private Sector: The candidate should have experience of 2 years in the pay scale of Rs. 6 lacs per annum in a company having its turnover more than 50 Crores).

Job description :

• Having excellent Communication Skills, should be self motivated and result oriented
  
• Excellent Negotiation skills for negotiations with major Telecom and Govt. Organizations
  
• Preparation and Execution of MoU and Agreement with Major Telecom Companies.
  
• Coordination with Legal, Finance, HRD and MM for various activities.
  
• Conducting Cost benefit analysis of the Projects including feasibility studies and assessments of the requirements.
  
• Submission and finalization of techno commercial proposal.
  
• To procure business in the field of IT
  
• Preparation of High value IT bid.
  
• Experience in IT tender/proposal evaluation
  
• Innovative and capable of working independently.
