Internal Audit Manager (based in Chennai, India)

Reporting to Group Internal Audit Manager, you will execute internal audits to deliver the requisite audit coverage as well as to improve and promote internal controls, risk management and governance within YCH India. You will assume an active role in formulating the audit plan, planning and executing the audit projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop the audit plan and scope for the India operations.
• Provide independent and objective assessment of the internal control environment through assessment and testing of key business processes and controls.
  
• Evaluate risks and controls as well as recommend business focused solutions to mitigate risks, improve controls and enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of operations.
  
• Execute projects effectively to ensure completion within expected timeline/costs/budget.
  
• Identify, communicate and report audit findings/recommendations clearly, accurately and objectively.
  
• Present audit results to the Group management through meetings and reports.
  
• Participate in system development and other projects and comment on internal control and risks issues.
  
• Assisting in the conduct of special reviews or investigations.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy/CPA or Chartered Accountant.
  
• Minimum 5 years of external and/or internal audit experience in India.
  
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of internal controls, risk management and governance, auditing techniques and methodologies.
  
• Good business orientation and able to engage with country management team.
  
• High level of integrity, meticulous, proactive, able to work independently and a team player.
  
• Excellent communication skills. Proficient in English (oral and written).
  
• Results oriented, able to balance multiple priorities and projects.
  
• Some travel within India is required.
  
• Required language(s): English.
