Help drive product excellence through the software / system test process for Airvana's wireless broadband products. Use Airvana tools and process to create, execute, and report on the quality of our products from the user perspective.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Technical Lead for a module/sub module for the product
• Responsible for test execution and Test suite creation and test automation
  
• Suggest / implement improvement to our labs, processes, equipment or automation.
  
• Improve the productivity of the group.
  
• Strong voice for QA in program meetings and/or bug disposition meetings.
  
• Take on individual or small team projects: set goals, document and implement.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Experience in one of the technology areas of our products: IP L2/3, SOHO network equipment, Router protocols, wireless, CDMA, EVDO, 1xRTT call processing, traffic. The proven ability to learn new technology quickly.
  
• Hands on experience on test automation, tools (Test Partner) and scripting (VB, Expect, TCL/TK etc) in any of the domains mentioned above
  
• BS CS, BS EE or equivalent, MS is a plus.
  
• Good understanding of the testing process.
  
• Experience in writing Test Plans, test cases and Test automation.
  
• 5+ years experience.
